FAQ
How do I add a tutorial?
Guidelines and instructions for adding tutorials can be found here.
Can I link to my own site in my tutorial?
Yes. If you have a personal site or portfolio site you’d like to link to at the end of your tutorial, go for it! We ask as a courtesy that you link to us on your site (we scratch your back…). If you have a commerce site selling photoshop tutorials or related products (other than your own services), we ask instead that you contact the dophotoshop team about advertising on dophotoshop.com.
I can’t log in!
If you’ve already registered and can’t log in, you may have forgotten your password or be typing it wrong. Use the “Lost your password?” link on the Login Page to retrieve your password.
How do I upload images for my tutorial?
Instructions for uploading and inserting images are part of the instructions for adding a tutorial on the Add Tutorial page.
I uploaded my images, now I don’t see them.
Images you’ve just uploaded can be found by choosing “Browse” in the upload images window. If you just uploaded your images, set the sort order from New to Old. If it’s been a while since you uploaded, you may want to sort A to Z, and check for your filenames alphabetically.
Why did the moderator edit/delete my tutorial?
Moderators reserve the right to edit or delete posts for any reason, but edits are generally for clarity in the tutorial. If your post has been deleted or not been published, you should have received an email explaining the reasons. If you have any complaints about a moderator’s choices, contact the dophotoshop team. All complaints are considered seriously.
Why can’t I edit my tutorial?
Once a tutorial is published, it’s considered belonging to the moderator who published it, so other users can’t edit it. You can add a comment on your tutorial explaining the improvement you’d like to make, or contact the dophotoshop team to explain the needed changes.
Can I advertise on your site?
Probably. Contact the dophotoshop team with an explanation of your product or program and a link to your site. We don’t advertise obscene or pornographic sites, and we try to keep our ads topical (like, about photoshop). Drop us a line, we’re interested.
Do you submit your tutorials to tutorial indexing sites?
Yes. We maximize the number of people seeing our site and your tutorials using omnetwork.net.
You haven’t answered my question
Right. If your question isn’t answered here contact the dophotoshop team with your question. If we get it a lot, we’ll add it here. If not, we’ll just answer you. Either way, you win.
